Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing Service

High-Performing Prototypes and Serialized Production Parts

High-Resolution, Accurate Parts without Tooling

Stereolithography (SLA) is a high-precision and high-resolution 3D printing technology that uses lasers to print out parts layer by layer through a light-cured liquid resin. SLA printed parts have smooth surfaces, precise details, and dimensional accuracy of up to 0.1 mm, which can be directly used in small batch production of end products, and are also widely used in rapid prototyping and verification. Compared with FDM,SLA has no interlayer lines and higher printing accuracy. FINDTOP offers a variety of SLA materials with adjustable parameter Settings, such as standard, titanium, temperature resistance, biocompatible, and more.

Available Finishes for SLA Printed Parts

  1. Matte: Support surface light grinding + sandblasting to achieve uniform matte.
  2. Natural: Support surface light grinding, improve quality.
  3. Strip steel: there may be small dot defects after removing the support.
  4. Fast polishing: Only the support surface is polished, and some layers are visible.
  5. Customization: Provide a variety of post-treatment options such as polishing, painting, heat treatment, etc.

Applications of Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing

  1. Conceptual model: printing speed is fast, precision is high, and design concepts can be iterated quickly.
  2. Rapid prototype: functional prototype, the material can simulate different materials.
  3. Digital manufacturing: high precision and good repeatability, mass production of discrete or customized parts.
  4. SLA can quickly print conceptual design prototypes, but also small batch digital production of terminal parts, a wide range of applications

Benefits of SLA 3D Printing

  1. SLA is the 3D printing technology of choice for printing precision smooth models, offering standard and high-resolution print quality options with build sizes up to 29 inches for large parts. SLA accurately reproduces complex shapes and details and is often used for final design validation before injection mold production. FINDTOP offers a wide selection of Accura and Somos materials, as well as excellent surface treatment and post-treatment solutions.

Overview: What is Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing?

Stereolithography is an additive manufacturing technique that uses ultraviolet light to irradiate and selectively cure photosensitive liquid resins to build parts by precisely curing them layer by layer. Support structures need to be set up before printing and manually removed after printing. The printed parts need to be cleaned in a solvent solution to remove the uncured resin and then post-cured in a UV oven. Stereolithography enables high-precision 3D printing by precisely curing the resin layer by layer with ultraviolet light.
