Strictly speaking, sand blasting is a kind of skin texture, which can be divided into two effects: concave convex effect and concave convex effect. The hand mold sandblasting is also powered by compressed air to form a high-speed jet beam to spray the sprayed materials (copper ore, quartz sand, emery, iron sand and sea sand) to the surface of the workpiece to be treated at high speed, so as to change the appearance or shape of the workpiece surface. According to different blasting methods, there are four classification methods:
1. Press in sandblasting and suction sandblasting
2. Dry sand blasting and liquid sand blasting
3. Open sand blasting and box (room) sand blasting
4. Manual sand blasting and automatic sand blasting
Application of sand blasting on mould hand board
1. Sand blasting can remove all dirt such as rust on the surface of the workpiece, and establish a very important basic schema (commonly known as rough surface) on the workpiece surface. Moreover, it can achieve different degrees of roughness by exchanging abrasives with different particle sizes. Sand blasting is required before workpiece coating and workpiece bonding. The binding force between the hand board workpiece and the coating and plating material is greatly improved. Or make the bonding parts bond more firmly and have better quality.
2. Cleaning and polishing of rough surface of castings and forgings and workpiece after heat treatment sand blasting can clean all dirt (such as oxide scale, oil stain and other residues) on the surface of castings and forgings and workpiece after heat treatment, polish the surface of workpiece, improve the smoothness of workpiece and achieve the function of beautification and decoration.
3. Burr cleaning and surface beautification of machined parts sand blasting can clean the micro burr on the workpiece surface, make the workpiece surface more flat, eliminate the harm of burr and improve the grade of workpiece.
4. Improve the mechanical properties of mechanical parts. After sandblasting, mechanical parts can produce uniform and fine concave convex surfaces on the surface of parts, so that the lubricating oil can be stored, so as to improve the lubrication conditions, reduce noise and improve the service life of machinery.
5. For some special-purpose workpieces, sandblasting can realize different reflection or matte at will.
