6、 Metal injection molding
MIM (metal injection molding): short for metal injection molding. It is a forming method of injecting the plasticized mixture of metal powder and its binder into the model. Firstly, the selected powder is mixed with the binder, then the mixture is granulated, and then the shape required by injection molding is formed.
MIM process flow: MIM process is divided into four unique processing steps (mixing, forming, degreasing and sintering) to realize the production of parts, and determine whether surface treatment is required according to the product characteristics.
Technical features:
1. Responsible for the parts of one-time molding;
2. Good surface quality, low scrap rate, high production efficiency and easy to realize automation;
3. Low requirements for mold materials.
Technical core: adhesive is the core of MIM technology. Only when a certain amount of adhesive is added, the powder can enhance the fluidity to be suitable for injection molding and maintain the basic shape of green blocks.
