Introduction:
Spiral wound gasket mainly includes metal wound gasket, graphite wound gasket, graphite metal wound gasket, metal graphite wound gasket, inner and outer ring wound gasket, metal asbestos wound gasket, metal tetrafluorocarbon wound gasket, etc. The spiral wound gasket is made of “V” shape (or “W” shape) metal belt and non-metal belt overlapping each other and continuously wound. The metal belt is fixed by spot welding at the beginning and end.
Performance characteristics:
1. It is applicable to a wide range of working conditions. It can withstand high temperature, high pressure and adapt to the service conditions under ultra-low temperature or vacuum. By changing the material combination of the gasket, the chemical corrosion of the gasket by various media can be solved.
2. Strong stress compensation ability. In the station with frequent temperature and pressure fluctuations, the sealing performance is stable and reliable.
3. Excellent sealing performance.
4. The surface accuracy of the flange seal in contact with the gasket is not high.
5. It is easy to install and the pre tightening pressure of the gasket is low.
Type:
1. A. the spiral wound gasket is divided into four types: basic type, inner ring type, outer ring type and inner and outer ring type. B. Spiral wound gaskets for heat exchangers are generally divided into basic type and type with inner and outer rings.
2. Commonly used materials: A. steel strip: 08F, 0Cr18Ni9 (304), 0Cr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni9Ti (321), 0cr17ni12, M02 (316), 00cr17ni14m02 (316L) B. cold rolled steel plate for inner and outer rings: outer ring: low carbon steel, 0Cr13, OCr18Ni9 inner ring: usually the same as the steel strip material or determined through negotiation. C. Non metallic belt: flexible graphite, special asbestos, polytetrafluoroethylene, non asbestos paper.
